Terms and Conditions - Standard Conditions of Sale
By placing an order with De Kleipot you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out below.
Unless specifically agreed between De Kleipot and you, the customer, no other terms and conditions will apply. Changes will apply to any subsequent order received. An agreement will be reached by an order-confirmation sent by email to the customer by De Kleipot. We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non-acceptance of an order may, for example, result from the product being unavailable from stock or our inability to obtain authorization of payment.
RETURNS:
■ If a tile is defective when bought, it should be exchanged within seven days.
■ Goods are not to be returned to us without our prior consent in writing.
■ We reserve the right to levy a charge of 15% (fifteen percent) of the invoiced value on goods accepted for return.
■ Items must be complete and packed in their original packaging.
■ Items must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice.
■ Returns will only be allowed within seven calendar days after purchase. After that no refunds will be made.
PAYMENT:
■ Payments are made with cash, credit or debit cards or via Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT).
■ Payment needs to be made before any item can be dispatched.

RIGHT OF CANCELLATION OF ORDERS:
De Kleipot fully reserves the right, at its own discretion, to cancel any order or purchase made on this website. In such an event, De Kleipot shall, refund, reimburse, or issue a voucher or coupon on that purchase, in whole or in part, as is appropriate in the circumstance.
If an order or purchase from this website is made in error in respect of price and invoicing of product, shipping/delivery, De Kleipot reserves the right to amend or cancel that order or purchase at its own discretion. In such an event, De Kleipot will take steps reasonable in the circumstance to rectify the error promptly.
OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:
■ All items will be the property of De Kleipot until full payment is received.
■ This website and the contents herein and on De Kleipot’s social media account and press, including but not limited to products, designs, pattern, text, logos and insignia are subject to copyright and intellectual property rights held exclusively by De Kleipot and may not be copied or reproduced under any circumstances in any manner whatsoever. Such rights are protected by South African and International Copyright and Intellectual Property Laws.
■ De Kleipot asserts and reserves full ownership, copyright, and intellectual property rights on all the designs and patterns on our products.
DELIVERY / SHIPPING:
■ Delivery will only take place once payment is received.
■ Delivery will take 2 - 4 business days.
PRODUCT PICTURES:
■ All pictures as seen on our website and official catalogues are for display purposes only and might differ slightly from the actual product. Please note that all tiles are HAND MADE and colours may vary from a computer screen to the physical product.
GENERAL:
■ De Kleipot will not be held responsible for any damage caused to a person, building or other equipment due to misuse, incorrect installation, lack of cleaning and maintenance or negligence by the operator.
FORCE MAJEURE:
■ De Kleipot cannot be held responsible for any agreement with a customer or potential customer, if they are hindered by situations not to be blamed on De Kleipot or causes beyond their control. De Kleipot can mediate between a customer and for instance a tiler, but will have no responsibility for the quality of work or the price quoted. Please note our Return Policy.
